Tap My Katamari is an 'idle clicker' inspired by the legendary game saga Katamari Damacy. The objective in these games is to push a small ball (called Katamari) and collect objects as you roll along. You can stick any smaller object to the ball, so the more objects you add, the bigger it gets and the more objects you can keep collecting.
In Tap My Katamari, the idea is similar to the original games, but the gameplay is totally different. All you have to do is tap the screen repeatedly to make the Prince (the main character) push his Katamari and move along collecting all the objects in his path. Every time you pick up an object, you also earn coins.
With the coins you earn, you can buy all sorts of improvements for both your Prince and the Katamari. You can also unlock friends to help you push your Katamari without even having to touch the screen.
Tap My Katamari is an entertaining game, but it's sort of disappointing. The Katamari Damacy saga always offered a fun and frantic gaming experience ... while this game doesn't really at all. It's nice to look at, of course, but it's not really a Katamari.
